Description
This was my internship project at Hes-so University, Switzerland under the supervision of Anjani Dhragandhariya. We were group of three people responsible to put the research work into the production
Basically, the topic of this research project was “Automating the summarization of Systematic reviews in clinical trials using semi-supervised algorithms”. Many medical professionals like doctors face difficulty in getting the most updated and summarized reviews of any specific term or area. We tried to simplify that problem and increased the productivity and reliability by 50%. We created the the website where doctors can easily fetch the updated reviews in summarized format called PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparision and Outcome). I was responsible to create the APIs to store large JSON
data on MongoDB Database.
My Roles and Responsibility
- Developed a full-stack web application to fetch updated clinical trials through search which can help medical professionals to get the latest reviews
- Conducted data preprocessing for PICO data generated via NLP and developed an API for data storage.
- Created search API using Nodejs and inserted the formatted data of 10,000+ research papers into the MongoDB.
- Collaborated on Creating a user-friendly interface using tailwindcss and Reactjs and deployed on the website for the purpose of querying the medical terms for reviews
